Day 3 – Power in Praying & Worshipping God
A true intercessor delights in worship and praise. Prayer rises to God on the wings of worship. Requests and praise are two sides of the same coin.
Read: Acts 16:16-26
Intercessors do not come to God being offended about what He has not done. Moaning is not praying. Our burden for the world’s needs is lifted as we pray in remembrance and thanks for what He can, and will do.
The Lord’s prayer begins: “Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name.” That is the beginning of all true intercession and the end is: “For yours is the kingdom and the power and glory forever. Amen” (Matthew 6:9-13). Make this the beginning and the end of your prayer today; and see your prayer life rise up to a new level of effectiveness.
- Take time to remember the cross, recall every blessing in your life and give thanks to God.
- Listen to the video attached and let the word sink in your mind and heart. Let the word wash you.
- Re-listen to the video and prays together with it. Make it become your prayer today.
Rejoice always, pray constantly, give thanks in everything; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
